Ducati Pantah 500SL 1982 model.
Ducati Pantah 500SL 1982 model.
Price: SOLD
The Pantah was the first Ducati to have belt-driven camshaft motors, thus forming the vanguard of the new generation of current Ducati V-twins. The new trellis frame was to become a trademark Ducati feature with the suspended motor acting as a stressed member, and the swing arm pivoted on the rear of the crankcase.
Released simultaneously with the 900 Mike Hailwood Replica, only a small number were produced, in order to gauge customer demand.
The first 163 were delivered in red and silver, with a tell-tale “.1” designation after the “DM 500L” serial number prefix.
The bike has had a complete nut and bolt restoration. Attention to detail is out of this World with every part, nut and bolt, sticker ect is an Original Ducati OEM PART . There were no short cuts what so ever taken on this build.
IF THERE IS A BETTER EXAMPLE AROUND IT WILL HAVE TO HAVE 0 KILOMETERS ON IT AND STILL BE IN THE CRATE.
