The Spider, produced from 1958 to 1961, was Alfa Romeo’s flagship open touring car, offering a more luxurious and refined package than the smaller 1,300-cc Giulietta Spider. The 2000 was a true open GT car, capable of a comfortable 100+mph long-distance cruising speed. Fewer than 3,500 of these Spiders were produced over approximately four years.
With the telephone number prices fully restored examples are going for currently this is a perfect car for an owner who is prepared for a restoration project which won’t break the bank and will probably will have some change left over once the project is completed.
The car is a non-matching numbers car, 2000 chassis with a 2600 motor. All the paper work is up to date and the car is licenced. The car runs and has a huge amount of extra parts to go with it including the original seats. The soft top is in extremely good condition and works.
There will definitely be a profit in this car once restored.
