Built from 1970-1982/83.In 1970, Alfa made the first significant change to the exterior styling with the instruction of the 1750 Spider Veloce with its more conventional cut-off tail. The grill was also slightly changed and the car was given new door handles, raked windscreen, conventional side-by-side windscreen wipers, top hinged pedals and improved interior trim. The new larger power plant of 1962cc made its debut in 1971 and with it the name changed to 2000 Spider Veloce. Also between 1974 and 1976, the early style stainless steel bumpers were replaced with black, rubber clad units to meet increased stringent North American crash requirements. These are smart, high-performance machines, that are appreciating at a rapid pace not to mention their extremely enjoyable driving and performance stats.
The car is in absolute pristine condition, the interior, carpets, dash are all 100% original. The car is mechanically sound and could even be used as a daily driver if the occasion arose. The roof is brand new all the chrome is perfect, alignment on the doors, bonnet, boot etc. is perfect. This is one extremely neat and unmolested example. A car that will definitely be the centre of attraction at any car gathering or Sunday morning breakfast.
