BMW M-Coupe 1999 Model

Today, BMW’s M vehicles form an extensive line-up of high-performance, highly-desirable cars. Some may argue too extensive. But not every BMW sports car, or M car, has enjoyed such popularity as the BMW M Coupe.
Project leader, Burkhard Goeschel, gathered a group of like-minded BMW workers in secret. Working after hours the M-Coupé, was introduced in 1998 and was produced through to 2002. Many parts are interchangeable between the BMW Z3 which made it very cost effective to produce. The car was originally developed to address the torsional and structural rigidity or lack thereof in the Z3.
In addition to the handling upgrades, the BMW M Coupe also received M-tuned engines. From 1998-2000, the M Coupe had the S50 3.2-liter six-cylinder taken from the contemporary E36 M3.
The M Coupe is a relatively rare car with as little as 2 999 units produced with the S50 engine Only
821 of those were right-hand drive models.
A beautiful example of a car that has become a cult classic. True BMW M heritage is represented by this car which is an absolute blast to drive and a must for any series Collector to have in their garage!
Finished in Arctic Silver with Imola Red + Black Nappa leather the car has clearly been pampered since new and extremely well kept.
This example has had the majority of the options list fitted to it, including a Harmon Kardon sound system, heated seats, climate control, electric windows and sunroof and M-styling interior package.
The model on sale here is powered by BMW’s 3.2-litre S50 engine unit (also used in the E36 M3) which can propel the Z3 M Coupé to 100km/h in just over 5 seconds.
