Mercedes Benz 230E W123 1983 Model

To own a W123 is to make an investment in safety, reliability and superb build quality, secure in the knowledge that you’re driving a product of the largest research and development budget in the world, from a company that was at the top of its game.

The W123 became an instant hit with the public due to its modern look. Following the slow build-up during the first year of production as to ensure the high and consistent quality, the customers who placed their orders faced a lengthy waiting period of nine to twelve months. A black market emerged for the customers who were willing to pay more for immediate delivery.

Many argue that the W123 is the last truly traditional Mercedes and the end of an era, with the quality of its successors suffering – there is very little that breaks on a well-kept 123

The W123s is the most successful model ever offered by Mercedes Benz.

While I have come across our fair share of pristine W123 Mercedes. It is pretty unusual to find one of this calibre This car is simply in amazing condition. The paint is factory stunning. The interior shows hardly any wear. Carpets, dashboard, Zebrano wood trim are all in impeccable shape. Bumpers, chrome trim and all glass are unscathed, shiny, and beautiful.

The vehicle was sold new by Cargo Motor Johannesburg and was driven sparingly by a very caring meticulous owner its whole life.

All the mechanicals are original and in perfectly working order. The vehicle has only been maintained at Cargo Motors in Selby and then in its later years at Sandown Motors and has all the necessary documentation with stamped books and Invoices.

Super-glossy and smooth paint, extraordinary rust-free body and undercarriage, shiny chrome trim and an interior that looks nearly new.

Equipped with two forms of professionally installed anti-theft devices: gear lock deadbolt lock and a brakes deadlock system as well. Its owner DID NOT want this car to get stolen!

One of the best W123'S on the market!
