In 1991, Harley released a customized FXDB to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Sturgis rally. One year later, they did the same to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the rally in Daytona. The Harley-Davidson FXDB Daytona was Harley’s first true use of a pearl paint job. The tank had a special decal about the Daytona rally, and the wheels were color matched to the bodywork. It also got highway bars and triple disc brakes. The seller of this bike searched far and wide when the bikes were originally released and ended up acquiring two examples. He rides one of them but kept this “as a treasure”.
